Hi Mirabella,
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to meet you my name is Coal and I am a really nice Lab, and my younger sister is a Border Collie, name Bella. We have our own blog over a EmiratesPets.com. Please come for a visit. Maybe we can meet up one day.
yea so we all end up walking in Dog shit.
ReplyDeleteThen the exapts will be blogging about not having dog poo cleaners.
this is almost as bad as people walking around in spaghetti string tops asking for UAE NAtionality because they have lived here all their life.
ReplyDeleteDOG PARKS? Are you mad?
Go and help at the womens shelter instead .
to anon.- hence the point of dog parks, only dog owners go there and they actually are responsible enough to pick up their pet's 'poo'...
ReplyDeleteto cg- people can have multiple causes you know...
*if there is a will there is a way...there will be dog parks in dubai...you probably won't even be aware of it, they are usually not very large...UAE nationals also own dogs and they along with their pets would benefit as well from neighborhood dog parks
What does what you wear have to do with getting/(not)deserving a passport?
to CG...first animals are like humans ..they have a life...second dont even think of posting a comment next time cause it shows how shallow you are...if you are not that intelligent to prove a point close your mouth and shut it rather than trying to be bold and showing off your brainlessproud self...btw thanks for the comment..made my day...couldnt stop laughing...wish i know where you from so i can laugh even harder
ReplyDeleteGhandi said "The state of the world is evident in the way it treats it's pets". I have read through some of the previous blogs, and it sadens me to see the anger, aggression and lack of respect we have for lifes creatures. Perhaps, some of you aren't understanding that you can have a designated dog park, without disturbing all of your other people parks.
ReplyDeleteThere are those of you who don't want to conserve life, fine, let the ones who care do that by giving us a park. Kind of like the ones who have exotic animals have zoos. Well in Dubai we have nothing and the domestic animals are suffering. Emma is new in Dubai Mirabella and we are on your side!
Mirabella: It's been more than two years since you stimulated comment on the idea of a dog park in Dubai. But I need some information and hope you are still in the mood to blog.
ReplyDeleteA possibility exists that I may come with my person to work in the UAE (at a university in Al Ain). A friend there told her that Shih Tzus, being a short-snouted dog and licker, are prohibited in the UAE. I doubt that that is true since you wrote from the UAE.
Please let me know if I may live in the UAE. My person takes really good care of me and won't abandon me. I'm 11 years old, in good health and cannot live without my person.
Thanks. Puppy.
