I write a new item, publish it to my blog but after several hours it's still not there.
Click on 'Search Blog' and it's there. Go to 'Edit Posts' and it shows up there too.
The only place it doesn't appear is on my blog.
Any ideas?
LATER EDIT: Exactly the same is happening with this posting.
Your observation is correct SeaBee, I've been experiencing the same problem for the last couple of days.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion is that you remove the 'http' prefix off the url of your blog when you type it to your address bar, it will then retrieve the newest post...
I have no idea why it is happening, nor why the method i've mentioned is working as well!
Go figure..
Thanks jazz.
ReplyDeleteThis one took half an hour to be published, my own blog took five hours.
At least now I know that it isn't only happening to me.
It might be Blogger glitching, or it might be Etisalat caching an older version of your blog.
ReplyDeleteI've had the same problem. So much for "new improved" Blogger.
ReplyDeleteMe too.

workaround: go to the post and "save as draft" then re-open the post in the editor and publish again.
ReplyDeleteI posted a story on my blog about half an hour ago. Of course, the story is not visible yet. However, 26 minutes after I posted it, NZM (who is currently not in the UAE) left a comment.
ReplyDeleteItisalot is up to something methinks.
keefieboy, I just checked your blog and the May 2 post is the latest one. I hit 'Search blog' and it refreshed to include your new one on the Metro.
ReplyDeleteSomething strange is going on...
I've been experiencing the same on my blog all week. One post didn't show up till the next day even.
ReplyDeleteAll recent posts in blogs are visible to me - but as Keefie boy said, I'm not in the UAE at the moment.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Itisalot has decided to censor all recent posts for the UAE audience until they have read them and deemed them to be fit for UAE consumption!
nzm, do you have the same time-lag when you publish, or does it appear on your blog immediately - like ours used to?
