  11. lol..am pretty sure nakhuda means a ship/boat's captain (or similar), not fisherman? gulf news sets another bar!

    a colleague's last name is nakhuda..2nd gen american persian..am not sure if the term/surname originates from persia/iran or elsewhere? where does nakhuda originate from?
