felt it here in new Karama...my mom felt the sofa she was sitting on vibrate...my friend called too..he experienced the bed and his refigerator...he stays on the Trade Centre road.
The quake's epicentre was in southern Iran, about 316km from Abu Dhabi, but strong tremors were felt in the UAE and evacuation plans were put into place along Sheikh Zayed Road, including the Dubai International Financial Centre and Emirates Towers.
oh yeah, i was eating in the sofa and it moves..then our windchimes made sounds too..half of the people in our building in sharjah went down fast, but i rather go ahead eating..
well Bujassem, the direct reasons are the movements and collisions of the tectonic plates on the crust of our earth. As for anything beyond that, I usually try to keep my speculations to myself. :P

Exactly that time. I felt a shake, same kind as last time Iran quake sent a vibration towards the UAE.
