I checked at work, and it wasn't working. I thought they had blocked it at work again. But then I checked at home, and it's not working either. Anyone else having trouble?
Its been really bad for me for over a week now. Maybe its the new format they're using....? Don't know but its pissing me off. I'm on duh so the service is slower than slow anyway.
I don't know if you are setting the proxy in your browser to proxy1.emirates.net.ae or not? But I used to leave it blank some time ago until I found problems in logging to fb and watching some videos on youtube. I am sure that there is nothing wrong with fb itself, these days.

Yes down for me all day to at home and then checked at gym tonight and still nothing. Saying "network error tcp_error". Not sure what is going on.
ReplyDeleteseems fine for me. just slow.
ReplyDeleteIt's working fine from outside UAE.
ReplyDeleteProxy issue. It works normally via VPN but slow and often times out using du or etisalat network.

ReplyDeleteThe internet has been TERRIBLE for a while, everything is slow!
ReplyDeleteOld nameservers are being served, tons of error / connection refused pages, lots of problems in general with the internet lately.
Ironic, trying to post the comment:

Works for me!
ReplyDeleteJust a general observation that the internet is unbelievably slow, even by Etisalat's standards, today. Maybe that's something to do with it.

ReplyDeleteThat used to happen to me on a regular basis. I deactivated my account two days ago though; the new layout's just plain confusing.
ReplyDeleteThe only time I had problems with fb inside UAE was because I didn't set the proxy in IE. Once I did that, it worked very fine.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's the new format that's being phased across regions? The new look, kinda sucks.
