OMG, so the "war on terror" goes back some 200 or 250 years! It was the mercenaries at the Coast of Barbary who were terrorizing the world; not the enslaving and extermination of millions of Africans, Asians and Latin and NAtive Americans (and the pillaging of their homelands) by the Europeans and early Americans! Bill Bennett's selective reading of history is only second to that of GWB in its intellectual and political rigor!
