Flickr Blocked .... Again?

Flickr Blocked Again

I just tried to access Flickr, but it looks like it has been blocked again!

    Yup, I was just going to post about it too. Looks like Flickr is blocked yet again, for now.

    Now we should go to bed every night and pray to God that we don't wake up to blocked sites. Nice suspense Etisalat...sorry, TRA.

    The sad part is that I just got my parents up and going on Flickr, they did not understand how to make an account. Now I am not sure, what to do. It was nice in that I got to see pictures of my family that I have seen in 2 years. :-(

    A shame indeed. These senseless and selfish people at both Etisalat and the TRA are ruining people's ways of communicating and sharing pictures of their family and friends from all over the world. Is this how Dubai promotes itself as a forward thinking place? What they are doing is taking a step back rather than progressing. What a bunch of medieval-minded people the TRA or the government is!!!

    Guys, use Tabblo. www.tabblo.com

    Its not a replacement for flickr, but you can import pics _from_ your flickr account into your Tabblo account.

    A 'tabblo' is basically an album.

    Its free, and its unblocked.
