Fire at MFC in Jebel Ali

A major fire has broken out this morning at the Modern Freight Company's warehouse facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone. The warehouse is located between R/A 6 & 7 opposite NAFFCO which is very close to my workplace. Huge flames and smoke could be seen rising over the MFC yard as I was on my way to office.

    For some reason, it was mentioned in today's New Zealand Herald too!

    Could this be due the summer heat? And inappropriate storage.
