Are you sure this is not a plug for yourself? After all the talk on the previous blog about remaining anonymous, this could be your alter ego, and I wouldnt be surprised! In any case, I agree, its a good read - a shining star amongst many wannabe blogs. Although your blog is probably the best in th UAE, this is a great alternative to sharing some valuable information to the novice - I would only wish that it was more often than every 6 weeks. I'd have to get my grapeshisha from the arabian courtyard instead!
Question - SD - is this your new blog area - is the other one dead?

Just had a wander and I must say the site is fantastic and free! WOW!! Its factual yet humorous - well done :)
Had a quick peek, and yes, it looks like a great resource. Interesting and fun. A bit like a blog but not. Have signed up, and look forward to the next newsletter.

Thanks for the kind comments on my blog. And no - this isn't my new blog area - this is a community blog for everyone. I hope that most of the entries will be from others, we already have over a dozen members so hopefully things will be quite active.
For the record, yes am a guy. Above that, I value my anonymity at the moment, for personal reasons. I hope that is respected.

There is no way in hell i would put in my email address on a website that has absolutely nothing to say about itself but, here, write in your email address. No, thank you very much.
If you really want people to read what you're writing, put it up on the site instead of hiding behind the 'email here for newsletter'. Cause I am sure, there are some people who are like me, very weary of sites like grapeshisha or whatever.
Mohamed: the site displays all the past newsletters. And if you're worried about misuse of your main, personal email address, you can always set up a spare hotmail account for newsletters and signing up for things and so on.
Ah, my bad. It appears as though the HTML author could have exerted a bit more effort in making the link to the most recent newsletter stand out. Maybe that would have distorted the black/white theme of the site.

Well, there is no direct link from the front page/obvious menu. I think I found the archives because I got a site referral directly to edition 4, which has a hyperlink to my blog. Kind of a cheat ;)
I received this today. I had signed up before, but somehow it previously ended up in the spam. I think it is written informatively and gives some good information, on diverse subjects - contruction and shisha smoking are not really in the same category are they? ;>
And there are archives on there, which is usueful.
Grapeshisha - are you a journalist? Have you thought about getting your site designed, because it could be so much more better with a bit more effort. Leave a comment if you are interested and I will email you about our prices.
AHA! give us your email address and we will send you email. Im on this list with a temporary address, and havent been spammed at all. just these newsletters, which i have found up to now very useful. I do think that if it grows that perhaps it should change the look. but maybe that is the point, they like to write and are not too bothered about the look. whatever, the content is good, as opposed to my daily newspaper!
crap site. good newsletter. make an effort with your image and you could do well.
