Woah. Only they didn't realise that I'm not the first blog blocked - just the first English language one.

The first blog blocked - still blocked, I believe - is an Arabic one written from Al Ain.

Here his Blogger profile. But his blog, The Land of Sands, is blocked.

Sadly not knowing Arabic I don't have a clue what it's about, nor can I access it from home.

moryati,

thanks for that!

SD,

i checked the Land of Sands from the UK and it works (obviously) but the last update was 14 November 2005. Perhaps he's asking someone outside the ae to post on his behalf.

haven't had the time to read it properly though.

BuJ - I expect that like so many hundreds of users he can't find a single way round or through the 100% watertight, indestructible, absolutely totally definitely impenetrable Etisalat proxy...

... ;)

Proxy apart, wouldn't posting-by-email be possible anyway, if you'd set it up in advance?
