Staff of the Emirates Economist travels to Oman
The staff of The Emirates Economist traveled to Oman today for a well deserved holiday. By chance we witnessed evidence of the gas shortage in Oman. Below is the photographic evidence:

there were no queues yesterday
The long queues at gas stations in Buraimi have been there ever since the UAE increased the price of petrol. Seems like most drivers in Al Ain choose to go fill up in Buraimi to save money.
Even with the shortage here in Muscat there are never queues at gas stations.
