We are so, so lucky to have the privilege of being customers of such an amazing telco as Etisalat. The thought of their monopoly ever being cracked makes me literally weep.

you should also check out their reshuffled "budget" web hosting deals, which claim 99.9% uptime, along with other marketing BS.
i get more than what they offer in their 545 AED a month deal for 10 USD a month....
Don't forget the amazing software you get for FREE! "As part of your Al Shamil package, you will be provided with Anti Spam Plus, Norton Anti Virus, and Norton Personal Firewall applications for FREE."
Some (including me) would argue that putting any Norton software on your computer is worse than getting any of the virus, spam, and spyware that it supposedly protects you from ;-)
In fact Etisalat and its subsidiaries are already being divided and sold, and some of its divisions have been bought by international companies. Maybe some of you already know about this, but the whole truth has not been made public. Hence the reason why they are expanding so rapidly by buying stakes in foreign telecoms and spending the billions of dollars they made off of us.
