"This building, it's a building in a UAE-style. But if you walk inside maybe you will be the only UAE man walking there, and that's very strange. After a while you will raise the question, who am I? Is it my country or am I a tourist?"

Saw the movie. No subtitles. Lots of sand and dialog.
No subtitles.
Sadly that really says it all. Preserving culture is also about exporting culture. We know so very little about the Emiratis as expats - and here is a sheer missed opportunity to generate greater understanding and respect.
(Assuming the subtitles aren't delayed, or they're planning an English version later on).
