Some interesting exchange of views on this one (please click on the photo to read comments). It's sad to note that only few understand. Before we start to educate others, our own people need a lot of education on what tourism really means to Dubai and what Dubai means by "Open Doors - Open Minds".

This is a hard one. For me as a Westerner, but at the same time one who believes in being culturally sensitive, I can see how some might find the lady's dress offensive. But I disagree with dictating to people how to dress--except with regard to work. Again, if this were a place of worship, like a mosque, then one might have a right to chastise the tourist. But they are visiting a tourist information office. Come on, this is not a place to have a dress code, and if Dubai wants to welcome international visitors--and it clearly does--it should definitely stay away from dictating how people dress.
it was really hot and i think she was fixing her hair - as you can see it was a quick shot.
