Lirun, totally unrelated to the post...Couldn't you just say Eid Mubarak and leave it at that for now.

Keefieboy, you don't dance or laugh when you are in a mosque for prayers...

Miserable people out there

Love it or leave it: doesn't look like a mosque to me!

Then Keefie, don't comment when you have no idea what you are commenting about.

It is a mosque, Masjid, the sheikhs are sitting on the floor listening to the Imam.

Satisfied....

Stop looking for opportunities to spill out your negative remarks...

anon...did you read this article properly...are you local?

"father who was a "nakhuda" - an Iranian term for a fisherman - and grew up watching the country evolve."

Since when Nakhuda means fisherman.. and since when it is an Iranian term...

Tells you alot about this rubbish newspaper...

lol..am pretty sure nakhuda means a ship/boat's captain (or similar), not fisherman? gulf news sets another bar!

a colleague's last name is nakhuda..2nd gen american persian..am not sure if the term/surname originates from persia/iran or elsewhere? where does nakhuda originate from?
