Found in my inbox today...

In a poor zoo in India, a lion was frustrated as he was offered not More than 1 kg of meat a day.

The lion thought its prayers were answered, when one day, a Saudi Zoo Manager visited the zoo and requested the zoo management to shift the lion to Dubai Zoo.

The lion was so happy and started thinking of a central A/C environment, a goat or two every day.

On its first day after arrival, the lion was offered a big bag, sealed very nicely for breakfast. The lion opened it quickly but was shocked to see that it contained few bananas. The lion thought, may be, they cared too much for him as they were worried about his stomach as he had recently been shifted from
India.

The next day the same thing happened. On the third day, again the same food bag of bananas was delivered.

The lion was so furious; it stopped the delivery boy and blasted at him, 'don't you know I am the lion...king of the Jungle..., what's wrong with your management? What nonsense is this? Why are you delivering bananas to me?

The delivery boy politely said, 'Sir, I know you are the king of the jungle ... but... you have been brought here on a monkey's visa !!!

Moral of the Story....

Better, be a Lion in your own country than a Monkey elsewhere!

Nice story:)
one Question why would a Saudi Zoo manager be involved to this story or is it a mistake?

This joke had probably orginiated in Ryiadh. I first heard it there couple of years ago. (and that's possibly why the Dubai zoo manager in your joke is a Saudi :) )

So if I am ask a question... If all of you were lions where you came from and are monkeys here now, how of why have you not gone back for good?

Because you never were lions. you were... caterpillars. and a monkey is far superior to a caterpillar.

@ABIT

You mean to say that the expat workforce which has pretty much created your country is all made up of "caterpillars"? And your country is built by caterpillars doing a monkey's job - monkeys being "far superior"? What does that say about the result?

You walked right into that one :)

It was a simple story and a comment on the condition of some expat due to bureaucracy, if anything. There was absolutely no need to turn into expat v/s nationals commentary.

Why not go back to where you came from - the desert in a camp with a few camels?

king of the Jungle.
...
uh-uh, it never lives in jungles, it's a common mistake, lions live in Savanna & vast lands.

I suppose caterpillars do a better job of it than lazy and fat monkeys who are too busy scratching their balls. ABIT, you need to go see a psychiatrist.
It's a joke.

every body is responsible for his/her actions
the "Lion" agreed to come to Dubai with a certain "Monkey" job or visa, the problem might be that the lion did not see the visa application at all!! because he is moving to DUUUUUUBAAAAI and he "thought" he will be the KING OF KINGS in Dubai

so thats it

you want to be a Loin in Dubai then demand a "lion" Visa!!! or stay a lion in your jungle
