I happened to be standing next to this silent vigil and I have to say that is was the noisiest version of silent I have ever witnessed... specifically the guy that came up and tried giving me photos of bloodied bodies and asked me to join, when I refused accused me of "not giving a fuck"
Apparently, the reformists are more popular within the Iranian community here. Anyway, I wish our Persian cousins all the best whatever they decide to do.
A vigil? For children who want to throw a tantrum when things dont go their way?
I'm not Iranian, so I really dont give a fuck who won, who might win, or who isnt, but come now, you "trusted" in the system to vote, yet when you dont get your way you cry?
See, the outcome of an election can go your way or NOT.
Would I put it past Iran to make a mockery of their own process? nope. But who would be able to prove it? This is the process that the IRANIANS chose 30 or so years ago.
Whinny babies. Thats all. And everyone at this "vigil" should have been arrested for loitering.
Sam, for once I applaud you, GOOD FOR YOU for not giving a fuck.
Anonymous said... Hopefully this revolution will spread and we can get rid of these damn Islamic morons.
God you are stupid. They are contesting the vote, not their religion. Infact no one is even questioning the "Ayahtullah." because as his name states, he is the... Ayah of God! *rolls eyes*

Silent vigil for Iran alright. For which side?
Sam: hmmm. that's really too bad... hopefully that wasn't what the organisers had in mind.
Anonymous: well, from MY perspective, for BOTH sides. But I don't know what the organisers had in mind.
Vigil for what...I don't see any reason for it!!!

I apologize for any shi3a readers in advance.
Hey Blessing...
I said Hopefully it will spread (spread being the key word)
Spread beyond the election issue, and get rid of this oppresive, messianic backward religion that was forced on us by arabs.
