Once upon a time, there was a patrol car riding the streets. It hit a car, causing a chain reaction of cars hitting other cars, causing quite a big accident.
The patrol car got angry that it caused an accident, and fined many vehicles parked around the area just because it felt that 'it was their fault' for making the patrol car cause an accident. And the fined vehicles (who had nothing to do with the accident) lived grumpily ever after.

This is called distorting facts.
The cars were fined because they weren't parking in the parking slots and weren't allowing other cars to move smoothly.
But yea, I agree that he did it because he was pissed off, he has every right to do it though !

Proud Emirati:
I say this Wyatt Earp of a cop shouldn't be a cop to begin with if he gets pissed off so easily. This time he fined, who knows next time he'll start a gunfight OK Corral style!
A few sessions in anger management is not a bad idea to begin with!
Is there a link to this story in English. These are the ones I love to share with those on the outside. THX!

That pic looks so embarrassing for the police department, I'm amazed that the site hasn't been blocked for being inconsistent with the values morals and culture of the UAE!
Driving a police patrol car (or an ambulance) so fast to attend to an accident, must be one of the most stressful jobs out there. Especially in Dubai.
i agree with emirati that he did it cos he was pissed off. however, that is the WRONG reason to do it.
Yea, the cars aren't parked in proper parking spaces but we've had cruisers pass by tonnes of times yet they never fined us. One day they bang into a car and then suddenly realize something is wrong...sheesh.
While I understand that sometimes the rules bend for cops (and they have a need to bend the laws to be able to enforce them), they aren't completely exempt from every law.
All what am saying is that the cop had the right to fine them regardless his psychological situation.
The article doesn't say anything about the cop being exempt from what happened or who was accountable for those accidents so I don't know exactly how did u conclude that?
Just because the cars weren't fined in the past doesn't mean that they weren't illegally parked. That's a ridiculous excuse to use.
Was the police officer fining people left and right out of anger? Who knows.. it's possible, but we are only speculating here.
If I were the officer, I would most certainly fine all the cars illegally parked.
