Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land:

Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land:

"Media & the Israel-Palestine Conflict"

Don't know how many of you will have seen this; but it is worth viewing.

Peace Propaganda & the Promised Land provides a striking comparison of U.S. and international media coverage of the crisis in the Middle East, zeroing in on how structural distortions in U.S. coverage have reinforced false perceptions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

I just watched the whole thing; it's bloody long, but it's worth it! Very interesting stuff, some of it has been debated on this forum repeatedly. The fact it's a couple of years old (I think?) doesn't take away from the power of its message, informing, criticizing and showing the road forward. Highly recommended.

I watched it on the course of 2 days, a couple of days back.

It is really good, not simply for the Americans (or those who watch the American media), but also for most Arab viewers too, (I hope Aljazeera decides to get this documentary translated into Arabic and broadcast).

You don't particularly get to see much anti-occupation Israelis (such as Ta'ayush, Btselem, Shalom Achshiv (Peace Now) and the IDF Refuseniks) on Arab media just like American media, apart from Israeli Arabs, namely the Israeli Arab MKs.
