A quarter-hour later, Orsi alleged, the man suddenly came up behind him, jostled his glasses, sat in his lap and tried to kiss and fondle him. When Orsi protested, he maintained the man became violently angry, threw him to the floor, punched and stomped him, smashed his glasses underfoot, then removed his belt and whipped him with the metal buckle.

Apparently the fellow who assaulted "Orsi" is Sheikh Khalifa's brother. I didn't even know about this 'til an American friend of mine sent me the link. Secret Dubai.. did YOU know about this? I'm curious.
Have a good weekend, everyone!

Need to be cynical: :-)
Option 1:
Let us give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was so drunk that he couldn’t tell the difference anymore?
Option 2:
He has had so many pros in his life that he got bored with women and wanted to try something new?
Come on guys on a serious note, don’t you all know at least one person that has somehow misbehaved in his/her life??? OK, I beat up everyone in school that didn’t get out of my way fast enough!
It's old news.
Did the rounds in the blogs a couple of years ago.
UAE national, Rashid Mohammed, said: “I never comply with the seat belt rule. Tinted windows not only give privacy and prevents burglars from seeing the contents in my car but also gives me a comfortable feeling that I won’t be caught by the police.”
Meanwhile, a recent study conducted by the Traffic and Patrol Department in Abu Dhabi Police showed that the majority of drivers who flout the seat belt rule were nationals while taxi drivers were complying with the rule.
Shows the respect of law that goes on in this country. Who cares for seat belt,
