Bahrain blocks Google Earth

Bahrain is in 'reach' mode after blocking Google Earth, apparently because it was showing too many palaces and islands belonging to private parties highlighting the disproportionate distribution of wealth.

Just the right place for the rest of the Middle East to look upto.

That's another example of attempting to manipulate the perception of reality.

Since they cannot Photoshop the images they deny access to them instead.

It's dragged in here because the community is talking about manipulation of information to influence perceptions of reality. I see a very strong connection.
