I'm not a cherry-plucker...

To the two vile blokes I saw in MoE last night:

1. Taking half a dozen cherries or more from Carrefour and eating them when you have no intention of purchasing any is theft.

2. Tossing your spat out cherry stones back onto the trays of fruit - right in front of me buying them - is so fking indescribably disgusting I wish I had bought a couple of those cheap souvenir daggers from Al Jabar Gallery and stabbed you both into a sodden red heap on the ground, dripping blood and cherry juice.

Next time...

Oh well, just teaches you to stay away from cherries...

In which case you'll have to stay away from most everything.

But Secret--violence isn't the answer. Just keep a digital camera handy. Act like you're taking their picture. It's amazing what embarassment/remorse this engenders. People who do stuff like this hate being photographed.

Yeah - the supermarkets get really arsey about photography though. However it's a great idea - I'll use my phone next time.

scwaggle/cherry: you can both post unmoderated if you join UAE comm, just drop me an email.

Re photos -- Grumpy Goat has a new campaign along the same lines. He saw a man driving a car packed full of his family, with his TODDLER on his LAP as he drove. GG gave said 'father' a dirty look and was ignored. At the light, GG then whipped out his digital camera to take a picture, and says you never saw anyone move a child to a safer place more quickly... I think the camera thing is a great idea!
