OK.. am I the only stupid one but is the Emirates Today website just impossible to use? It's so unfriendly and I cannot seem to find many things to click on. When I do it asks for a password!

Perhaps I have the wrong link or perhaps you need to pay. Till then will probably still use Gulf News... If it ain't bust, don't fix it.

Never heard of someone charging to visit their news website!

You don't need to pay, but it doesn't work properly on all browsers (eg Safari). It should work on Firefox. The logging in thing seems a bit glitchy still to me, but once you are in, it's the most "newspaper-like" experience of any online papers I've seen yet.

it works properly. but it is retarded.

it has become stylish for news agencies to force users to sign up even though there is no financial benefit.

the emirates today site is stupid however, even when you type in your login and password, you can't hit return, you actually have to click the login button, which is pretty flawed design.
