Fatafeet, the delicious and reasonably priced Egyptian restaurant on the Creek has been gone for many months now. It closed mysteriously and I really have no idea what happened to the place. Perhaps Creek developers are planning to do something there and they bought it out? Hopefully it wasn't shut down for health violations or something because I sure ate a lot there.
Anyhow, does anyone know another GOOD and family type Egyptian eatery? Details would be appreciated.

I love that we've expanded our offerings at UAE community blog into food. Great comment, moryarti.
All great blogs from time to time cover food.
Let's keep these sorts of posts coming. And the photos from BD and Danilo, too.
mmmmh, can't wait to check those places out.
thanks,

Darn, sorry to hear Fatafeet went under. It always got good marks in the Explorer, and I had some friends who highly recommended it.
I guess that's Dubai restaurants for you, though. Here today, gone the next time you drive through the roundabout.
