Finally an 'exception'

So Emirates Today has finally managed to correct the spelling of 'exception' and has now even tried to live up to it by publishing an overspeeding Range Rover with black tinted glass.

No, I am not signing up with the Emirates Today fan club yet.

(I've been busy slamming the Evening Post in the past that lead to the mix up. Thanks for pointing it out, Sam)

hmm...
Wasn't it Emirates Today before?
and doesn't the speed read 219 kmph and not 209 kmph?

Ah.. it reads 218 actually.

Interesting number plate!

No outstanding fines, according to Dubai Police website today. The driver must have paid up immediately for speeding and having more than 30% tint.

Not bad grumpy goat. You looked it up on the website.
He must have paid up or maybe he is just within reach of the radar, not the law.

Nice one woke - btw and please don't shoot me :) I don't think there is "overspeeding" it's just speeding.

the Ajman 666 plate is registered to the son/nephew of Ajman's sheikh. I recognize the plate because i saw several 666-Ajman plated cars belonging to the same owner on a Flickr site. Its Really amazing that the newspaper would publish such a picture.

Thanks for pointing out that mistake Blogrosh.
The word is quite commonly used incorrectly in sub continent and I got used to it :D

Common sense prevents me from posting what I really want to post. Instead, I'd like to submit an idea for a little game.

Type a random registration number into the Dubai police fine form here. If there's a group of you playing, the winner is the one who picks either the largest number of outstanding offences or the highest fine total.
